Funding
NEPA is a non-profit making organisation. The modest membership fee we do charge goes mainly towards the costs associated with the production, print and distribution of NEPA News, your monthly newsletter. What little is left over covers essential things like meeting room hire, postage, sausage rolls at the AGM, trophy engraving, occasional hospitality and expenses for guest speakers and the like.
The events we run are all organised to cover their own costs - or at the very least break even. Ticket prices cover the usual expensive items, venue hire, catering costs and the entertainment fees - Someone has to pay the turn.
We are very good at cajoling our many generous benefactors to supply ticket printing, banner advertising, photography, drinks promotions, AV equipment, either at cost or if, we are very lucky, for free. There are loads of designers who’ve taken their turn at doing the tickets and the posters. It looks good in the portfolio doesn’t it! We aren’t averse to the odd contra deal - a little extra publicity in return for a disco hire - you know the sort of thing.
NEPA is not VAT registered so we don’t charge VAT but there are times we do have to bite the bullet and pay it - but that’s life!
Althought the subs have remained unchanged since 2002, it is inevitable that there will have to be an increase for company members in the new year but with this dynamic new website NEPA will continue to offer tremendous value in the years ahead.

We are always keen to talk to advertisers and potential event sponsors. NEPA welcomes mutual co-operation and encourages communication across all business sectors.
The online members directory is designed to encourage potential b2b opportunities and help both customers and suppliers source a wide range of services from NEPA members.
The 'member's only' section of this site (above) gives direct access to contact names, numbers and web links making membership even more valuable.
The NEPA subscription year runs annually from February to February. To keep the books healthy we need new blood, and we need all current members to pay their subs as promptly as possible.
